My parents went to the 90th in 1993 and said it was amazing how well they were treated and how much fun they had. Said it was way better than Sturgis

Milwaukee is a great city. I've been there twice for Summerfest and both times were a blast. Can't wait to do this thing with an 90 member HOG chapter and my parents.

We stay out in West Bend, straight shot down Hwy45 to get to the festivities.

Hmmm!
How can it be comparing to the badland, and many, many more greatest places in SD?

The events exceed what you will find in Sturgis, but the riding around Sturgis is better. Milwaulkee is an experience that one will not forget. Friendly people, HD museum, HD factory, 5 bands playing at once in one park. Vendors in the parking lot of every HD shop and there a bunch of them. 25,000 bike parade.

Group rides from the West Coast, East Coast, South, and North that you can join at any place along the routes. Parties at each stop along the way.

Default Bed and Breakfast Option for 110th Anniversary

One place you might want to consider staying for the Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary is Pleasant Street Bed and Breakfast in Oconomowoc, WI (www.pleasantstreetbnb.com). They are about 25 miles west of Milwaukee, right off I-94 and have a package for four nights, four guests, that includes commemorative tickets, garage parking, gourmet breakfast, gift set (hat, bandana and pin), etc.

Is that for the month? Guess I'm staying at my buddy Bob's instead in Elm Grove. If you're in a HOG chapter you may want to contact someone in the Kettle Moraine Chapter regarding lodging. Many of them rented rooms to people for the 100th/105th at a reasonable rate. Comes along with someone with local knowledge which is priceless when it comes to getting around town during the madness of that weekend.

I don't know about where TO stay but I can tell you where NOT to stay. The MOtel 6 across from the airport. First room smelled of wet dogs, second of puke and feces and the third was just plain terrible. Asked for some of our money back but nothing. Just a bad experience.
