I am traveling on my trip to southern Idaho and staying in Lusk WY the first night. The next night I amgoing to be going through Pinedale and looking for lodging lowest of here before Idaho. Cheap but decent hotel I am trying to find. Let me know what you guys think

If I remember right, Pinedale is in a large prairie area between two mountain ranges. The mountains are going to limit your options. Normally, I'd suggest staying in Afton or Alpine, but I am not sure how you'd get there from Pinedale without a lot of riding.

If you're headed to Idaho, Pinedale to me seems a little to far eastward.

Hoback or Alpine would seem like better options if you're using Rt. 89.

Rt. 191 goes to Pinedale.

Yes I am going to be taking 191 to 89. I was thinking Hoback but does not seem like a very big town. So than I was looking into Alpine which does not have much for lodging either. Than I was looking at Thayne which has a few more rooms, but now I am getting a little far south to where I would have to back track the next morning. My route I plan on going up to Rexburg and than west. I do not want to stay in Jackson and was thinking of a more small town with hopefully a little cheaper hotel also. I like these places. From Lusk to Alpine is close to 500 miles which will be enough for that day

You don't have a whole lot of options. Wyoming is very sparsely populated. If you want to stay somewhere between Pinedale and Jackson, that doesn't leave much besides Hoback and Alpine (20 miles apart). I'm guessing you are avoiding staying in Jackson because it is a very expensive place to stay?

i stayed at the KOA just south of jackson hole. i really enjoyed it. all the little sheds with beds face the river and you can fall asleep to white noise if they have a good snow melt. just my 2 cents

We stayed at a motel in Pinedale WY in 2010 on our way to Yellowstone. It was a clean reasonably priced place. Baymont Inn I think.

Ya Jackson is rediculously expensive. Looks like Hobach or Alpine I should be able to find a room. If not I will just have to keep going west. Im not planning on reserving a room
