Hop down I81 south to I66 east to Front Royal VA and pick up Skyline Drive. It connects with the Blue Ridge Parkway.

From LI you could make Front Royal VA in one day. There are a few places near there. Personally I prefer Best Westerns. They are biker friendly. Do some Google searching on places to stay along the Blue Ridge. It's a popular destination so there are lots of good places in all price ranges. Try a few B&Bs along the way. You will not be able to do 400 miles per day once you leave Front Royal. It will be more like 150 because you will be stopping often to take photos of the awesomeness that is around you.

I'd prefer hop on I-81 all the way to Knoxville/Seiverville exit that leads to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN. Touristy town with so many choices of restaurants and bars everywhere.

Then you can ride Cherohala, Hellbender 28, Tail of the Dragon before hopping on Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive on your way home.

There is a lot of threads here that you can look up. Also, Google is your best friend as well.

Safe Travels,

Thorey

BigBlue, there is a nice Holiday Inn located in Winchester Va, a couple of miles from Front Royal. Huge dealership right down the block. They have lots of Patsy Cline things going on in town and she is buried down the block from the Holiday Inn. Lots of restaurants etc in the area.

The next day we like to stop in Floyd Va, Hotel Floyd. Super cheap but wonderful hotel. You will be surprised how new and clean for what you paid. Couple of hippy restaurants in Town, overall great stop right off Blue Ridge.

Next day I would get to Maggie Valley, tons of hotels and cabins.

Last day take Tail of the Dragon into Tennessee and go to Nashville for some music and a cold one (or two).
