Wife and I went last year for the first time and had a great time, so we're going again. No, it's not Sturgis or Daytona, but good times just the same. This rally should be a must do for all riders from the Mid Atlantic states looking for a fun weekend on the beach!

Three of us are heading down from central Pa. Just Wednes through Friday.

 

me and a buddy of mine are going from the Winchester, va/martinsburg, wv area

 

4 or 5 of us riding from Morgantown wv.

 

Wife and I have been going to OC for a bunch of years now. Its a great area and the rally does a nice job. Frontier Town for us again this year.

 

We'll be there. Our balcony overlooks the vendor area at the Hooter's at 123rd St.

 

I have never gone, mostly just because of schedule. I was going to ride down for the day for Sunday. Now, my wife is telling me to go down Saturday and stay the night. It's 3 hours one way. I don't think its a big deal to ride down early Sun morning, and come back that night, but she worries.

Since I've never been.... Any of you repeaters want to throw out the names of a couple places I can call, just to see if a room is still open? Thanks.

 

Any hotel recommendations? If I do go it will be a last minute call, if I can get a few days off. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg, but wife won't do a flea bag motel.

 

I've been it's a good time, it's definitely worth the trip.

 

Last minute lodging may be easier to find north of OC into Delaware, or even out closer to Salisbury. Never had to book late so not real sure of the best places.
