Any product with the claim "street legal", or "epa compliant" must be certified for each year it is advertised to "fit". They advertise their slip on mufflers the same way.

They need to fix the 110 engines first..

My buddies 12 CVO Ultra detonated at 14k miles coming back from Chicago. (lifter let go destroyed cam and other items)
Fellow Hog member 13 CVO Ultra detonated at 22k miles. (rod let go)
Another friends 13 CVO 110th Anniversary detonated within last two weeks..(still waiting on diagnosis)

I'm at 20k miles and it has been making racket since 1k miles...

It's been known that the stock HD lifters go around 20-25K miles on average. If any, the "B" lifters have been known to be better then later built ones.

I had some noise starting to show up in mine. I too thought it was the stock lifters. It was actually something that got caught in the cam bearings, cam plate and scared it up. The lifters were really in GREAT SHAPE.

IF you decide to change them, for sure put some S&S lifters and you should be good to go. At least regarding lifters.

I admit I'm a big fan of horsepower, but I'm glad I bought my CVO when I did. Put this motor in a bike and that $40k price tag will be far in the rear view.

If you can swing 40, you can swing 50 right?

Big difference between CAN and WILLING.......LOL. I don't think I'm willing at this point. Took some convincing to spend the $40k.

Thanks for the kind words!

Any of the 2009 CVO Screamin Eagle Road Glides are in a class by themselves!

Can't go wrong with any color!
