Default Options to lower 2016 FLTRUSE

I just brought home my '16 CVO Road Ultra (FLTRUSE) two days ago and I'm already wanting to lower it just a little bit .5 to 1". What are my best options and ways to do this? Does taking air out of the rear shocks lower the any?

I lowered my '15 with 1" lowering blocks. Made a difference for sure. I think mine came from Drag Specialties and ran around 140.00. Bike feels and handles the same as before. I stayed away from cheaper units myself. I've seen problems with the less expensive pieces.
