This works every time for me. As soon as I shut off my bike I hold my accessory button and music and nav come up without interruption.

I wonder how long you can run the radio on ACC without battery going dead?

It automatically shuts off at 2 hours. I run it in the garage when cleaning the bike and have yet to have a problem.

don't be a dumb a@s like me and leave the heated seat sw or heated grips on while running the radio it easy to do when you just hope off the ride after a 40 degree ride.

I've never found a way to do what you want, and it's one of the few complaints I have about the CVO.

You could flip the switch and back on again right away. I've done that a few times and most times, the head unit doesn't do a full reboot, it's back where I left it. But not all the time, kinda depends on how long you leave it "off".

Not on a CVO SG. The lock is just a fork lock.

Yep and it will give you a fork lock warning along the odometer.
