Concur.
I have 15K on mine. I do regular recommended maintenance I do ride it like I own it. I don't baby it but I don't beat on it either. No issues. A little warmer than I like it in summer stop and go rush hour traffic but that's about it.
There were some teething problems in 110 TCs dating back to 2007 time frame but I would say most have been worked out. Even if not, you now have trends established so you know what to look for. You can also swap out parts you know have a likelihood of failing. For example, the 99c lifters are a common fail item reported here. Why wait until it blows up? Spend a couple bucks for SE lifters and adjustable push rods. An hour or so in the garage and you have the piece of mind that those are done. A lot of the pre-2007 crowd did preemptive maintenance like this; swapping spring loaded for hydraulic cam chain tensioners and swapping to the auto-adjust primary chain tensioner.
If you can find a good deal, absolutely go for it. Rumor is TC values are dipping faster than normal because of the new M8 release. That may translate to better pricing for you. Don't be too dissuaded from what you read in the forums. Its logical you are going to see more collections of people complaining about problems here. You don't get as many people praising the bikes or reporting no issues because they are out riding.

At 15K on my 2015 FLHXSE. Same story here, Stage 1, she sees some spirited riding. I do give thought to swapping out the lifters before they start to get loud or just crater on me... I’d probably go with S&S.

I have 21K on my 2016 FLHXSE, I also have stage 1, its going to go out of warranty this July, I will be installing S&S Premium Lifters and Rocker lockers, there has been quite a few 110 engines that have been taken out by a lifter on the CVO forum, but who knows how many engines are untouched?
I'm not taking chances as I don't have a ESP, but for a few dollars and a couple hours of work I should be ok.

I'm changing out my lifters when 15000 miles roll around. S&S lifters will replace the stockers. I'd wrather spend a few bucks for insurance and peace of mind. The 110" engines can easily be upgraded to a 117" if the mood should strike. TheM-8s are very restrictive on many popular common upgrades at risk of loosing drive train warrantys. Hope this helps.

Is the motor a factory 110 or a 103 that was built up to a 110? Harley makes a 110 kit with CVO heads but it runs lower compression than the stage 4 tire shredder and performance was also much lower. Also no throttle body upgrade with this kit. We have a local dealer that does a few custom bikes every year and they use a HD paint set and motor upgrade. These turn out to be high dollar mods, normally selling for $50k+.
