Default Rear Suspension

Has anyone change their rear suspension on a 17 or 18 touring model. And if so was it a big improvement and do you feel it was worth the money

There are a thousand threads over in the "Rushmore" section. Lot of great information.

And YES I dumped the HD coil crap on my 2017 CVO and went with Pro-Action.

I installed super shox on my 18 Road Glide and it made a huge difference. I now have 3.5 inches of travel compared to 2.1 and still maintain the OE ride height. You would think for 41k Harley could do this.

I installed these on my 2015 street glide special. unbelievable ride difference. and the best part, you can adjust the preload by hand. no tools required.
Life is good!

Default 14 in shocks

I talked to D. K custom Hey suggested that I get the 14 in shocks with the 1 inch lowering kit. This would give me more travel. My technician almost guaranteed me when I am 2 up the inside of my saddlebags would rub . My bike is a 17 CVO limited And that would not be good. Has anyone tried this

I’ve been wondering about that myself. I’m always two up at 480lbs and thought about the 14” and lowering block kit they have
