Upgrades done finally!
I bought my Bronze Armor back in Jan 2021, only thing I did in the beginning was to upgrade the stereo to a focal sport amp/Focal HDK speakers and put fullsac baffles in the stock mufflers.
Recently, I installed the RW RS-1 shocks, Khromewerk HP+ muffler and had the cam swapped to the SE462 with a harley download. Im not a dyno chart guy, just know when the bike runs the way I want it too. So I have the same cam and shocks on my RGS for the past year so I was curious to see how the CVO Limited would compare. I have a few hundred miles in since the upgrades.
1. Shocks are still a very noticeable improvement from the 13" premium shocks the CVO came with. The bike rides and tracks significantly better. I noticed how much more planted it felt at higher speeds.
2. I ran the mufflers before the cam swap and they sounded pretty good and the bike actually felt a bit more responsive at lower rpms. After the cam swap, boy did they come alive. Still have that typical kw tone but a lot more assertive without being obnoxious.
3. What I really like about this cam is it fits my riding style. I didnt notice any dropoff at low rpms but a definite improvement when the bike starts revving past 2500 rpm. Riding in traffic in 4th geat at 50 mph around 2800 rpm and you twist the throttle and all of a sudden you look done and youre doing 65. Riding at 65 in 5th gear and your twist the throttle and 80 mph is there suddenly. That really was my major complaint with the stock cam, plenty of low end grunt but not a whole lot of useful grunt when rolling on the throttle at speed.
Overall, pretty happy with how all these changes work together and just a lot more fun, enjoyable ride without sacrificing any reliability which is what I was looking for.

played around on the dyno with my KW and the inserts make about a 20 ft lb diffference around 2300 rpms, very noticeable! They do sound great without out the inserts though. The performance and louvered insert perform almost identical but have a slightly different tone from each other. Congrats on the bike sir!

Yeah, took a while, lol. Wife and I are going for a 2 week trip out to Durango/Moab and Southern Utah. Lots of 2 up riding to enjoy the improvements.

i have a D&D 2-1 and when they did the 117 in my bike, they changed the cam....sounds like a completely different bike....it has a deep low angry roar now, i didn't realize how much i'd enjoy that sound as I'm riding
