My neighbor has a 2016 CVO Road Glide with only 9,500 miles and the paint on the tourpak light bar also was bubbling.
Harley actually paid for a new painted light bar. Only cost him $100.00.

 

True, but my comprehensive is like the John Wayne/Richard Boone exchanges in Big Jake ~ “your fault, my fault, nobody’s fault…” ~ they cover it.

Not sure if yours is the same way, but if it is then it’s a lot easier to explain how some ******** kid threw a rock at you while you were riding (damn kids) or how that owie mysteriously showed up while you were at dinner 🤷🏻‍♂️, as opposed to getting them to believe the tractor beam on the alien ship lost its grip on your rear tire while you were eight feet in the air 😱 or that you went off a cliff nose first but only got that one little ding 😗

Of course I’m not saying that you should do that, that part is between you and your consience (if ya have one ), I’m just saying…

And no, I’m not in the insurance business. I pay high premiums just like you, that is if you even have insurance. It’s claims like this that help raise premiums. Thank you for that.

 

Not sure how you took that, but I’m kinda sarcastic and it was more tongue in cheek than advice on what to do. Just thought the dropping it on the fairing was kinda funny and my mind tends to works that way.

Don’t generaly feel the need to ‘splain myself, just feel bad if ya did think I was telling him to do that and spent time on it. Kinda thought the alien thing and emojis might convey that.
