2023 CVO RG didn't want to start
Crappy weather and life being busy the bike has been stuck in the garage for a few weeks. Temps are already in the 30s overnight here lately so it's been on the charger for about a week. Nice day today, came home to head out for a ride and it didn't want to start. Definitely not a battery issue as everything lit up, fuel pump cycled like it normally does etc, but just turned over and wouldn't fire. Tried it multiple times and same result. I didn't count the attempts to start but easily 8ish or so times. Voltage was dropping and battery sounding weaker so was about to give up and put it back on the charger. Tried it one more time and it fired right up like nothing was wrong. Let it run for a few minutes, shut it off and started right back up with no issues. Stopped for gas while I was riding and fired up again no issues.
Could of swore I saw something in a thread a few weeks back about the same thing happening and it had to go to the dealer for an ECM issue or something similar. Searched page after page and didn't find it. Anyone remember the post or had an issue with yours not starting????

Did you check the codes yet?
I did go through that as well earlier this year, same symptoms and also had ECM/BCM codes along with TPMS issues which ended up also involving an ABS error in the system. The dealer reset everything, that's how they found the ABS issue as it did not show up in the codes that I saw. The TPMS thing has come back once since then but deflating/inflating the rear tire took care of that.

Just checked codes, none showing that I can see. I say that I can see because couldn't scroll down to the bottom of the list, for some reason the arrows did nothing and neither did the touch screen. Will try to post a pic, but no ECM or BCM codes active or history. Thanks for the reminder touchdown, forgot to mention I checked battery connections earlier and they are tight. If it persists will definitely end up at the dealer.
