Default 2023 CVO Chirp

Anyone know how to turn off the alarm chirp on the new CVO's? It doesn't say how to in the manual.

help me better understand the question, is the alarm going off and you are trying to turn it off, or are you talking about the couple of chirps you get when you turn the bike off and the alarm sets?

The chirps when you toggled the ignition switch.

I was at the dealer with a good friend last week for this same request to eliminate the chirp when the bike ignition is turned off. They took it in and adjusted the clutch issue, not fully releasing, not enough play. They followed the directions by the book to turn off the chip with no success. Reported it to the mother ship.

I just purchased a SIP subscription, so I'll give the process from that a shot and see how it goes.

It was easy on the previous models, but I haven't found it yet on the 23. Maybe the dealer has to go in with the digital tech to do it???? I hate that chirp.

It's the biggest problem with the bike.

The process listed on the SIP site does not disable the chirp, as an FYI.

What was the process listed on the SIP site?

Yes, but the process is wrong. I found a thread from another forum for a 2021 where they could not disable that one either. Someone chimed in with a slightly different way of doing it, and it works for the 23 CVO.

With the fob present, turn the switch on, count two seconds, then turn off. As soon as the first chirp is heard, but before the second, turn the switch back on. Count two seconds, turn off. As soon as the first chirp is heard but before the second, turn the switch back on. No more chirp.
