well, we still have a problem

the fellas at the dealership asked me to bring it in right away

i'm losing coolant somewhere, and got another high temp warning

typically in a situation like this it's a simple fix....of course, I worry about some of the more ominous possibilities

good, bad, or ugly, i'll keep you guys posted

they tried bleeding the system, didn't work
they tried changing out a sensor, that didn't work
finally on a test ride, the technician found that the coolant pump was not turning on intermittently
needs a new coolant pump, they need to order it in and it will be in next week sometime

Glad it was relatively simple, hopefully that takes care of it.

I suppose good they found it, and atleast not on trip.

How much coolant were you losing? Burning up or??

i topped the reservoir off twice in the course of about 4 or 5 short rides (half hour to 45 minutes each)

once they get the pump replaced, i'm certain they'll test it

as far as I could tell (sarcasm font on), seemed like you've had your eyes on one of these overpriced CVOs, i'd hold off if I were you...maybe buy 2-3 poor man's bikes instead...someone tried to give me that advice once and I ignored it

I would bet that after buying that bike, you qualify as "poor" now.

i work for a living, just like most here do

it would take a helluva more than a foolish motorcycle purchase to set me back

this isn't about the money, this is about my time....that is worth way more than money

I've owned the bike for 6 months, the ******** have had it for 4....i just don't have the time and patience for this bullshit any longer

as for money, i haven't missed a meal since I bought it

recently when they started again with the bullshit of it will be done, no it's not done, we got it figured out, no we don't have it figured out, we need parts, we don't have the parts, we'll next day the parts.....blah de ****ing blah blah blah

my wife saw my reactor starting to go critical.....that's when she suggested....no....that's when she insisted

"Go buy another bike! Do not let these guys ruin our summer and our plans"

two day later, i did this

starts every time, goes over 100mph, every feature that they sold me works, it's 5 years older and about 20years ahead of the piece of **** cvo in my sig....never again, fellas, i'll never buy another piece of **** harley
