RE: 2007-2008 110 ci CVO Recall
I just got a call from my local H-D dealer that my 2007 FLHTCUSE2 will be getting new heads and gaskets as a result of the MoCo's callback on the 110 c.u. engines. \\; According to the service manager, mine is the first bike in Charlotte, NC to get the new heads. \\; He also said that the MoCo informed him that all 110 owners will be receiving a letter in about a month informing them of the callback. \\; I'm convinced that the rumor is true. \\; I'm just glad I got ahead of the mad rush to get the new parts installed. \\;

RE: 2007-2008 110 ci CVO Recall
I too had a discussion with my dealer and was told this. That a "recall" is a "safety issue". There is no recall. What there will be is a "fix" for the 110's. MOCO acknowledges there is a problem with the gasgets on the 110's and has corrected the problem with the bikes coming from MOCO now. The earlier bikes (ours) will be able to get the "fix". He is just not sure how it will work. Either fix it now before it gets bad...or wait until there is a problem. He really doesn't know exactly how they are going to offer the solution, but he says it is more of a customer service issue and not a safety issue, but that there is definitely a problem that is going to be rectified.
