I had one on my '07 FXSTSSE...
don't waste your money on it.
I removed the ThunderMax and bought the TTS MasterTune, felt an improvement in power and throttle response immedately...
did the Vtune procedure and the bike felt way better than it ever did!
I removed it because the ThunderMax has an issue with "bliping" the throttle, it would intermittently pop throught the intake, sometimes stalling the bike... it's a limitation of the Alpha-N software that they use.
went back to the HD ECM and loaded the TTS base MAP into the factory computer and saw an immediate improvement..

I have the thundermax ECM on my Night Train and Zippers Performance is testing their new ECM (for the 2011-12 FLSTSE2 CVO Softail Convertible) on my CVO. Its a great product.
I used to use TTS Mastertune which is IMO probably the best tuning program out there. I switched to the thundermax because I am ALWAYS changing things on my bikes. Cams, air cleaners, pipes.... The auto tune makes changing parts hassle free. No dyno tune or V-Tune needed.
The most important thing with the Thundermax ECM is choosing the correct base map. If Thundermax doesn't have a Map that is identical to your build, compare your cam specs with the specs of the cams listed in the tuning software. Pick the closest matching map. For example, I'm running TMan TR-555 cams on my Night Train. Base maps that use the Red Shift 575 cam are a good starting point since is it the closest match to my cam...

I had one. It's ok. Wouldnt go back. I think the Power Vision is better ,but nothing beats a TTS or Power vision with a good tune. Go to forum sponsor Fuel Moto. Jamie will set you up right. Check out their website. Good luck.
