2008 CVO ultra 30 tooth front pulley
Lot of conflicting stories on what will work on changing the front pull to a 30 tooth pulley. Cruse not working, 6th gear light, compensator, belt needing to be changed out, breaking belts, speed calibration, Andrews vs baker, also changing out the rear sprocket on the 2007 and 2008 issue.
30 tooth front pulley (transmission) seems to be the way to go, want to keep compensator, if I loose the 6 gear light that's ok, need that cruse some here say you will lose the cruise some say not!
Can someone please clarify,

07 and 08 Standard Touring bikes came with a 66 tooth rear pulley.
08 has the cush drive on the rear pulley.
You can replace either with the Foreign Sportster rear 68 tooth pulley.
Replaced my 07 with the 68 tooth cush drive pulley. Made a small but noticeable difference.

With the 30 tooth front pulley you will probably have to replace the belt with a shorter one.
