Default Battery Losing Charge - 2 Weeks

The new battery in my '75 FXE loses charge in about 2 weeks. The key is off, why is the battery losing juice?

Also, even though the charge is low, I still should be able to kick start it, correct?

Check the regulator out put. Long as she's got points and at least 6v it'll kick over , I've kicked mine rigging a 9v out of a clock in a pinch once.

Thanks Twizted.

How do I know if they are reversed?

I inherited this bike from my brother and am still learning.

Bottom bolt on the solenoid goes to the starter, top one is the power in from the relay or the battery if somebody took the big relay out of the system.
