Do the turn signals on this bike stay on all the time as running lights?

Turn signals should only be be when you activate them when turning right or left; they are not used as running lights.

Need a little more help with this. I don't have the front signals wired in yet. With a test light on either the brown or violet wire in the rear harness plug, pressing either the L/R turn signal button will only faintly light the light.

If I put on the emergency signal switch, I get a a light. Neither are flashing. Do the flashers themselves need to be grounded? How do I test them?

I'm not great with wiring. The thing I'm missing is how the flasher connects to the turn signal wiring. The green wires go to the flasher and an orange wire runs from the other pole of the flasher to the terminal board. Circuits 1 and 2 is where the violet and brown turn signals connect to the terminal board.

How do they connect to each other?

OK, so I looked at the diagram again and see that the emergency flasher provides the connectivity. Still need to determine troubleshooting steps.

Thanks John. I have 12v on orange side of the flasher relay. Nothing happens on the green wire pole when I press either turn signal button on the controls.

Emergency switch in the 'on' position has 12 volts at violet pole and I have 12 volts on turn signal pins at rear harness.

Relay?
