If you are going to use the fork shrouds as shown on that bike, I could work without the nacelle. So many choices:

I like those as well. Probably have to shorten them with my lowered front so they don’t hit the fender mounts

Fender mount, not fender. Im not machining the bosses off the lowers. Im not running a fender.

Started on the body tonight. Need to smooth it out on the wheel after Im happy with the shape. Started with a paper template and moved to the english wheel.

Probably doesn't look much different but it is! Ive trimmed a lot of excess metal off and worked more on the compound curves which are a royal pain. Its a constant back and forth because one curve will take another curve out and you need to work in a specific direction. Then there's additional metal there that needs to be folded around the framework once Im happy with how it fits and looks.

The rear fender now tapers in and down and the top around the seat edge is softly rolled in. It'll be three pieces welded together. The 2 sides and the panel under the seat.

Looking real good.. preliminary kinda resembles a boat tail...

NO i don't see that - along the idea an FX resembles an FLH yea but
