there was a guy on here did some work on a 1982 FLHS which had the spoked wheels plus a few other things were different to an flh such as rear brake pedal etc etc

true, fixing a flat on a tubeless IS an added bonus, didn't consider that. kink04FXD and you have the same bike, MINE is in red. And soon all three WILL have mag wheels

Another difference is my 78 FLH rear disc is a 10 inch and the 82 FLH disc is 11.5 inch,

You guys helped out. I learned allot in the last few days. Front and back are the same unless you run a dbl disc on the front. My problem was some of these cast wheels have part numbers and most don't. And everyone on EBAY tells me " Yeah, this fits your bike". I found one locally that worked, ( But I wanted to put my hands on it to measure and check it out before I bought it.) Now I'm searching for one for the front.

parts book is confusing for fx wheels, so can’t answer for them

Hubcap

Is there a part number on that hubcap?

Yep, 44441-75, not too common but have seen them on the bay.

I’m in the UK, so no chance of finding one so mines being rechromed.

hope that helps

I don’t like cleaning spokes better but they look good.
