Default 3/1983 Iron Horse mag FXDG feature

Scanned pics of FXDG feature from March 1983 Iron Horse Magazine. I own one that was purchased from a family friend who bought it new. (He laments trading his '66 FLH for it though) I have most important pieces to put it back to bone stock, but will be looking for a few soon. I looked through threads by a couple members on their restore projects on this model, and figured these pics and info could help others who are looking for info. Enjoy!, JB

My parts manual has a special section at the end for the 1983 FXDG.
Why not just have your fork legs powder coated? other than the color, they are the same.
