I don't have that ad but I can get you in the right time frame. I have a Sept '76 Big Bike mag that has a 2 page Sportster ad with the same format and eagle background as the Low Rider ad you're looking for.
Side note, that issue of Big Bike has a kind of laid back road test of a Super Glide, worth a look if you find one.

Thanks for your help Ken ! i did not find this add yet but did find a Cycle Mag. with a review of the 77 Low Rider !


the shipping label covers up the the 1977 Low Rider review . . i thought it might have the add but if not still has the Low Rider article !

 

I just got an response from the person I e-mailed. He said it is from cycle magazine but is unsure of the month. I wonder if it would be from late 1976 or early 1977 ? I also have a big interest in these Harley custom motor cycles. Just got an original owners manual for my recent purchase today. Are you buying the above magazine?

 

You might look into Cycle Guide and Cycle World. I remember seeing that ad and I read those two along with Cycle....

 

There is a book called "Harley-Davidson Super Glide Performance Portfolio 1971-1981" that is published by Brooklands Books. The book has reprints of 30 road tests from various magazines. It's printed in black and white and I certainly think it's worth the $25 bucks or so. The info below is from the UK but you can get it in the USA also.

those adds were in many many bike magazinesin the 70's, it was a standard Harley Factory add so you coud find it reasonably easily if you find a magazine dealer at a good swap meet i would expect, here in England I remember it in a few magazines of the day

i was told i could find the add i am looking for could be found in the June 1977 issue of Custom Bike Mag . . . got this 1 for under 3 $+ ship !
