Default 1969 Shovelhead restore help

I'm doing a 1969 Shovelhead restoration and could us a little help. I need to confirm where the front terminal plate mount. A picture would be great. I have a basket case and the wiring was all messed up. Thanks for the help.

It mounts on the front of the triple trees. There will be a screw hole in each for it to mount vertically.

The horn also fits inside the headlight cowl.

I believe the front terminal block wasn't used until 1970, and was unique for 70-72 with 13 wire locations (11 wire locations in 73 up). So the terminal block for the 69 should be behind the coil bracket.

Hopefully someone will confirm or correct.

This is what it looks inside the nacelle of my 1970. Terminal block is push type, not nuts on terminals, and horizontal bolted to upper tree. Lower terminal is for flashers for the four way and turn signal. Not sure when they changed thigs up, but very different from what Paul showed you. Good luck.

Looking up the block in a parts book would would help narrow down the year and the changeover.
