Push Rod Cover Seal Choices

Push Rod Cover Seal Choices
I was checking a few threads on this subject. It appears that the various seals must match the pushrod tubes. Specifically there are cork seals, O-rings, and Quad Seals. Does the socket for the seal in the Rocker Box make any difference? It appears that the O-ring and Cork for the top seal are the same diameter. I have no Quad Seals to match up as my bike is a 1984 and uses Quad Seals top and bottom. I can't remember but think the middle seal is a smaller O-Ring. I have a set of earlier than 1981 Rocker Boxes and don't want to worry about matching seals in the future if I replace them.
So is the socket for the push rod tube seals in the rocker box the same or has it changed through the years.

Configure what ever make the tube not leak and to con firm if it twists when hot its not tight enough
we have used - a used squashed cork on the center with a new cork too make them good and tight as well as more tin spring washers and new springs
it seems some like the same some want more
