Default Exhaust with a Baker 6-4

Dug an old 81 FXEF out of the shed. Looking for an exhaust that will clear a Baker 6-4. I have one and want to put it to this old shovel. Engine, so i've been told is mildly built with S&S carb. No specs available since it was a few years ago. Would like a little muffler in lieu of full drag pipes. Any suggestions on exhaust would be appreciated

Custom made is the only way I know.
I had to extend my front pipe 3/4" to get the front muffler down enough to clear and piece together the rear using sections from other pipes.

custom made may mean awww sh*t i have to do this ,,but you have the chance to weld any brackets on at that time and it fits correctly -- i put a few of those 4 box 6 speeds in theres a few more things ya have to do to make them fit -- the 6th gear is the best advantage over/drive -- i run a belt for a primary a 22 tranny and a 47 rear ... it depends on the h.p./torque of your bike as to what gear it can pull..... i knew a dude with an old panhead he had 24 and a 26 on the tranny -- stock riveted rear 51 -- he SWORE his bike could out run everything -- as it turned out he couldnt out run a regular panhead with 24/23/51 with a bendix carb and a sifton 412 cam---

I tried like hell to make my stock short drags work. They did but by the time i was done it was very restrictive. Good advice here. Have a system made. Had a local guy use the first?? inches of my stock pipes with flanges, then stepped them up to 1 7/8 then to 2". Wrapped them and have been very happy. My trans is offset .250. I would think stock would be even more troublesome??

2" pipes are wayyyyy to big for a stocker even a 80" 2" for maybe over 100" -- i ran 1 3/4 od pipes on my 100" it was good for 147mph 1 7/8" on a 103" is ok -- ya need long pipes for top end -- if your serious ya run unchromed pipes and where ever the purple ring is measure 1" back and cut the pipe --

Thats why u 3 step them up. 1 3/4-1 7/8 -2".My #s speak for themselves. Stock motors 1 3/4 would be fine
