HH cases, House of Horsepower, Clell Richards
Hello again everyone. My shovel is running great and I'm having a blast. It's raining today so I'm wrenching and researching. Does anyone have any info on Clell Richards, HH cases, House of Horsepower? Clell Richards supposedly had a hand in my engine when the previous owner was building the bike. The cases are stamped HH. It appears Clell is in the nursing home with Alzheimer's, so no help there. Maybe someone's heard of him? He had a shop in California.

House of Horsepower Question
I have a Pan-Shovel with House of Horsepower cases. Problem is I don't know much about the internals other than it's a stroker and the previous owner said it was a 98" motor. My question is: What does the House of Horsepower stamping 5390 tell me, if anything. Any help is appreciated.

hello Jeff, my name is Chuck Medina, I use to work for House of Horsepower. We were in Louisville Co at the time in a shop next to Explosive Fabricators. The owners name was Greg and there was only one other man named Brian that worked there, he ran the CNC mill which did 75% of the machine work to your crankcases. Greg and I did all the rest by hand along with crankcase repair, the # that you are questioning is simply the serial number in sequential order that matches up with the MSO that should have came with your bike when you bought it, it was crankcase number 53 made in 1990
