Default Crane Cams- Hydraulic Lifters Kit # 3-1003 Anyone?

All,

Trying to get a picture of the Crane hydraulic lifter kit that is available online,#3-1003. About $385 for 4-roller lifters and adjustable pushrods on worlds largest online auction site..........

I have solid conversion in now and have grown tired of the noise on hot days....makes me think bad things......are happening.......and I know technology has improved....!

Anyone running these lifters/pushrods with success or not????

Thanks!
Steve

once apon a time crane was the good stuff BUT they went out / closed up then rumers came around clamed that they were back - in the shop aftermarket books they NO longer display a USA made flag next to the parts - i dont know for sure whats up with them today but caution should be used - jz

Yah, I kinda figured that they are offshore, but I was hoping Japan. At least I know that they make great bearings!!! Their machining appears to be top notch.....metallurgy also good.....hell, a lot of the parts on my 79 were made in Japan and sold to Harley!!!

So, that's why I was asking for some real world experience. Seems like hardly any make it onshore any longer....even the big 3! The BIG Bearing versions just kick me when you mention the price and think that for that money you are 1/4 into a nice shiny new crate motor V8.......! Not just 4 lifters......

Just doing casual riding.....get from A to B and back again....no racing. Keepin' it sane!

Thanks!!!
Steve

Got Jim's big-axle hydraulics in mine for a while now. Very quiet, and don't need constant adjustment.
