Default Shinko 777's

I've been thinking of doing this for a long time, finally pulled the trigger.

Shinko 777 White Walls
90/90-21 P/N 87-4565
160/70-17 P/N 87-4602

Put my car on jack stands, and used a bottle jack between the rear differential and tire to break the bead. Tie wrap the beads together and tire slips on and off without using any tire irons.

On the front 21" rim I used a ball joint press to break the beads. I cut the top and bottom off of three ICE soda bottles, flattened out the plastic and used them as rim protectors. Use tire irons to pull the bead over the rim on one side, flip over and pull half of the bead out, slip rim into tire and use your hand to pull the other side of the tire off the wheel. You may be able to do a 19" rim with tie wraps, I tried on the 21" but the rim was too narrow & shallow.

For balancing I used Dyna Beads, looks cleaner without wheel weights.

I love the 777's, and the color on your bike looks great with the whitewalls.

The whitewalls go great with the green/chrome. Good choice!
Where did you buy the Shinko 777 from if you don't mind me asking?

Heard the Shinkos are good tires but they wear fast. Looks good.
