New to Harley and doing any kind of work on bikes... 1995 883 from Florida, now in Kansas. Rode it a few times up and down the street before it wouldn't start again...new battery from Harley...sweet, starts again... 3 days later...dead... killed a multimeter...second one found that it wasn't the battery at all, stator is good too...voltage regulator, easy fix...new one from Harley... $$$ All is well...

Starting on second full week of ownership. Single seat, trimmed rear fender some, powdercoated both front and rear fenders, painted tank last night...was planning on putting the drag bars on today at lunch when low and behold...stripped allen head bolts everywhere. All of the allen head bolts that hold the hand controls on are done for...so...that's where I'm at so far.
