Yesterday finally took frt wheel wts off after installing Ride-on last fall. WOW even better! That stuff is the $hit!! went for ride W/buddy & stopped @ HD dealer to get Red rear turn signal lenses. Looking to get fwd foot pegs & more comfortable seat BUT those items on hold till I find new job. Being laid off have to limit funds on bike & truck mods for now :-(

I polished the spokes and used DuPont Dry Teflon Lubricant, the same stuff I use on my sport bike chains It did help slide the wraps over and past each other.

You can do the spoke wraps on the bike, several have done it in this thread HERE I did it with the wheels off since I was replacing the tires; the front 21" wasn't too bad, I could get enough space to slide the wraps by pushing on the spokes with my fingers. The rear 17" was a bit tougher due to the shorter spokes, but now with it done, I really like the look...

Thanks Tin, I was looking team last season when I bought the bike, I'm up in the ait with it, I think it'll look good with the subtle black and chrome accents, and the silver paint. Won't really know unless I try it. Thanks again.

I was the same, figured I'd give it a try and see what I thought of them. Now with them done, I'm glad I did it

I got the Bykas spoke wraps on Amazon, had them within a week.

I took the stock Dunlops off the Fat Bob and replaced them with Avon Cobras. 200 on the rear and kept with a 130 on the front.

Love them - much better tyres all round.

I also replaced all the wheel bearings while I was there - too many reports of Fat Bob wheel bearings failing after low mileages.
