Depends on the viscosity rating and trailer tire size. Just make sure you wave.

Its a freaking motorcycle. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I don't know right from wrong, but I do know how I wash my bike: Spray down with hose to cool off and wet grime. Fire up pressure washer... (been using pressure washers for decades, so I know how to use one) From a couple of feet using a wide spray nozzle, I basically brush all sand, dust, dirt off. Then I mist very lightly S100 and take a car wash mitt dedicated to my bike. After that, I pressure wash it all off. Then go to hose with no sprayer on it and flood the bike to wash all remaining soap out of nooks and crannies...then I add an ionizer onto the hose and flood the bike again. Move bike into garage and use 250mph leaf blower. Then Kirkland Microfiber towels with the tag removed to polish and wax all paint, chrome, plexiglass. Looks good as new.

and

NO, I don't shoot the pressure water into bearing, electrical connections, etc.

Never ever throw the bike into the dryer after washing. Don't ask how I know!

Unless it has been rode in the rain, or is extremely dirty, I just use detail spray and a microfiber towel. Haven't washed mine for months and it still looks new.

I once knew a guy who was a compulsive cleaner. He worked an office job but on Saturdays he earned his weekend party money by coming to people's houses and detailing their car. In the trunk of his car he would have everything he needed, buckets, cleaners, brushes, rags, wax, vacuum, etc.. The basic deal was you hired him for 4-8 hours on a Saturday. Four hours was the minimum if you car was pretty clean and up to 8 hours if it was a mess. He would decide when he was finished to his standards of cleanliness, which were quite high. He would wash the car and go over it with all sorts of brushes and cloths, getting into all the crevices. He paid special attention to the inside, too.

I lost track of this fellow long ago. I really wish someone would start a similar service for motorcycles. I would gladly pay occasionally to come over have the entire bike cleaned.

I have never washed any bike but the triumph and that's only of I went mudding. Can't put that I the garage. I just use a carwash and spray it off, the ride home dries it off. Otherwise rain works fine.

This is what I use on my Sporty spray on hose off dry with leaf blower, only scrubbing I have to do with car wheel brush is wire spooks front wheel when needed.

Yes! LOL and everyone looks at a ten year old bike and says it looks like new. Agreed accept for the microfiber and the Harley wash video (cringing when he got the hose out)

I'm surprised at the microfiber usage and must have acquired some really crappy microfiber rags in the past. I own none since seeing what they leave behind on glass and chrome but maybe I'll revisit. I will say the whole blower thing is news... so good post. Maybe that's what I was missing and I might actually get a hose out someday.
