Default Fender reflectors

Has anyone removed the red reflectors from the side of the rear fenders?
Just wondering. I think I'd like it better without them. Thinking of using dental floss to cut through the sticky tape....

Few people leave them on. You can use dental floss. I've removed dozens of them. I prefer 8 lb fishing line and WD 40. Use a slow sawing motion. The remaining glue etc can be removed with goo gone.

I removed them on my 2013 triglide. I soaked the rubber behind the reflector with WD40, then used fishing line. Excess glue comes off with Goo Gone

Stripped them off of my '14, and will do the same with the new '17 once I get a chance to wash it and get a coat of wax on it! Had it for 3 weeks now, but Hurricane Matthew interfered with things for about a week. At the dealer now for 1000 mile service.

I soaked the rubber with goo gone and then just pulled with a slow pull. Did the forks the same way.

Ya know, I don't think the reflectors look that great either, but I prefer to have something to stand out & reflect light to on coming traffic at night !
I hate that feeling when cars are headed towards the side of me !

Dental floss and goo gone. I have bullet lens on the front turns, helps with being seen from the side. Jim

And that is why I put wheel stripes on my Dyna. It doesn't have near the lighting of my FLHXS. Here's a pic of it in day and one in the garage in the dark with a flashlight on the wheels.
