Default Anyone have the Nostalgic Bar & Shield Air Cleaner Cover-29138-91A

I'm thinking about getting this air cleaner cover, but cannot find any dimensions for it. I've got an FXDC with the Arlen Ness Big Sucker and have been using the original cover for it. I'm looking for something a little less stock.

If someone has this air cleaner, could you please tell me the dimensions; inside diameter and depth. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Rick

I found these dimensions at the link below.
Nostalgic Air Cleaner is 2.76" in depth and 3.75" in diameter.

The diameter has got to be at least twice that, just from looking at the pic of it installed. I'm gonna guess it's 8 inches,or maybe 8&3/4.

I have a brand spankin' new one sitting in its box, waiting to be installed on my FLS as part of a complete Stage 1 install in the spring.

8" in diameter, 2 3/4" deep.

If you get that air cleaner cover you will also need to get the air cleaner service gasket or it will hit your tank. Part #29591-99. Here it is when I had it on my bike.

+1 on the gasket. It acts as a space for proper fit. Also, FYI the cover itself w/the gasket take up more "knee-room" than the football style.

The Nostalgic Cover does look great on my bike! (Yea, I need to update my sig pic.)

Put this one on a V&H VO2 breather. Looks good and it's cheaper than the one listed in the catalog.

Like the box says, it's 8 inches in diameter. I use a 7" aftermarket air cleaner cover on my Big Sucker. It fits, but probably restricts the airflow at high RPMs.
