Options for waterproofing speaker lids?
I'm planning to add the Hogtunes lids with a set of Pioneer Pro 6900 6x9's in the next few weeks, and other than speaker cloth, ive got no ideas on how to keep my pro's dry and functional. Of course, I never want to get caught in the rain, but thats not always possible...Any other options I should explore other than a different speaker choice? Thanks a bunch!
Waterproof treated grill cloth works surprisingly well. That said, if I get caught/anticipate a downpour, I have a set of vinyl lid covers in the bags. Take up very little space.

I installed the DD DX6x9 speakers in my Hogtunes lids without speaker cloth on the speakers. The reason being is the cloth would impede the speaker movement if I wrapped it. Maybe someone else has a better option out there.
Condoms are a good idea. Do they stay on well enough to ride with, or are they for sitting parked?
