is my being OCD ish worth paying twice as much for pegs so that they match the rest of the bike? i can get the crested bar and shield pegs for $85, is it worth paying double that for the streamliner pegs to match al the rest of the bike?

You just notice the cost during purchase. You notice the pegs everytime you ride. Pony Up!

These are just the pegs that come stock as the passenger pegs on the touring bikes right?

If I'm correct...hit me up. I'll take my passenger pegs off and send you them for free. I planned to change them out anyhow. Only ridden on a few times. Still like new on my '16 RGS.

that is correct. this is what they look like and i have been looking, but can't find any just yet. and i would be more than happy to pay for them, when do you plan on making the switch?

Using any other style of peg will also void your warranty.

I won't be riding for another few weeks or so. I can pull them in the next couple days. Send me a PM and I'll hook you up.
