All other **** aside, comfort is more important than chrome, unless you like to look good while suffering.

ok heres an image I just found on this very forum. You can see the two sporties side by each. Im guessin the one on the left are about 12 inch bars.. Im not even gonna call them apes since the difference in height is only about 6 inches overall. Myself, I feel hunched over with the stock bars. I do like the Z bars and chrome seems to be the way to go.

 

The coolest Z bars I've seen have all been black... just sayin'
