A friend just bought a bike, I'm headed to the store to get him a bell.

Just a couple of pictures of the 85 mile quick trip to dinner. We seem to have taken the long way home.

Yeah! Every year they have a new one they are selling raffle tickets for. Every year we buy a ticket. This year we're going to win it!

Very cool...I'm betting he'll appreciate that!

Always more fun to "get lost" on the way home. Up in your part of the world, that could be days.

Kevin

A couple of days ago I was working late and heard a bunch of thunder outside.

It was a bit late (7:45pm) and figured I'd better head out if I wanted to stay dry.

This was the view south of the shop, before I left....

This was the view east of the shop, before I left....

This was the view about halfway home (headed north)...photo does not do it justice...that's some serious rain up ahead.

As I turned left, off of the interstate, I got a few sprinkles on me during the last 6 miles home.

I was only home 10 minutes when it let loose and dropped at least an inch of rain.

Barely made it!

Kevin

Just got back to the shop.

Had appointments scattered around Memphis and North Mississippi today....

So even though I was working, I got to ride 190 miles today in some great weather!

Had that happen giving my grandson a ride in the sidecar rig. Went through a short rain on the move, hardly got a drop on us, good wimpshields, but was dry at home. Until I got it in the garage, and this happened before I could put the door down. He thought that was cool, just poured for a few minutes. We wouldn't have stayed dry in this.

Nothing compares to making memories with the grandkids!!!!

Kevin

Last night I was "riding off into the sunset" and had to stop and take a pic.

It's amazing how the body gets acclimated to different temperatures.

We've been having some cooler days lately. This morning I was COLD on the ride in...and it was 75*. lol

That's what happens after riding for the last couple of months when the temps are mostly in the high 80's and low 90's.

Grabbed a couple of pics on the way into the shop this morning.

I get the feeling you wouldn't like riding with me in the winter.

We had a high of only 75 today. Going to be a cool Sturgis this year.
