Default Just upsided.....

Decided to go bigger.....rode it for about 30 miles tonight....bit more cushion....but a hell of alot more confidence...

I wanted o keep the same "motif" as the old rim as I will not change the rear rim...

Great...

As a side note, when using a Rear tire on the Front, it is usually recommended to reverse the Rotation...unlike yours

I saw that and I actually asked the folks at the HD dealership.....they said it was OK....i also saw the orientation on another bike ... I think it will be ok.

Check the directional arrows on your sidewalls! Your arrows should point in the opposite direction to the way your front wheel actually rotates.

It's really this simple...

AVON is in the Motorcycle Tire Manufacturing Business. If I buy an AVON Rear Tire and they say to reverse the Direction when using in the Front, then I think that's what I would do

FWIW...
"the folks at the HD dealership.....they said it was OK"...

Wouldn't give me a "Warm and Fuzzy" feeling

Maybe this will help the next guy

On a completely side note from the rotation thing... I really like it, I would not have thought to put a big tire like that on the front. I've been looking at the bigger wheels out there (23" 26" and so on) and they all seem to have those tiny little tires on them... I would love to see a combo of a fat tire like your and a large rime like the others... Like I said, looks great though.
