Default New frisco bars on 04 xl1200R

Finally put my bars on. You tube said it was a 30 minute job which equaled a 3 hour job for me after dropping every nut, screw, bolt, washer, and wrenches 10 times. I'm a terrible mechanic. Lmao. The main reason I am posting this is I had many questions whether these would fit on the roadster with factory lines and cables. The answer is yes. I have seen them on manyirons with brake line concerns but these were a breeze.

In a world of blacked out sportsters and Dynas. I'm happy I stuck to chrome when I started.

And for people searching to see if bars will fit in the future. I did not need to bend the hard break line at all. Factory clamps/risers. Might even be able to get aftermarket risers and go 1” taller than stock.

any other suggestions?

Also opinion, which seat? Factory or this big ugly wide mustang ?

Apparently that big ugly Mustang is the bees with regards to comfort. Anything "cooler" will have you doing less miles. Nothing wrong with having 2 seats tho. 1 for bar hopping and 1 for the long hauls.

As for highway pegs, I dig the HD mounts/pegs the most. They look like they belong there. Will that crash bar even work with your exhaust? Looks like you'd have to mount it pretty darn high to clear the front pipe.

you know, that thought about the height never really even crossed my mind. I suppose I should do some more research before ordering it.

And yes that mustang seat is def very comfortable and I have done 400 or so mile stretches on this sportster with that seat.

Hope this is what you are looking for. If not I can get some better shots tomorrow in better light.

notice I really didn't even have to remove that little clamp that is bolted into the triple tree

I have a braided steel brake line off of my junction box, I'm guessing it is aftermarket and likely shorter than yours
