looking for the connector and don’t know if it Emirates from behind the fairing or under the tank?

I believe it is behind the fairing right side. Here's the supplement for the 2008 models, but much will be the same for yours.

Thank you for the suppliment, it says the two pin connector is located on the right side crash bar however I think that is the location where it is supposed to be. I don’t know where to look to see where it may have been tucked in? Fairing? Or beneath the tank?

From the wiring diagram for your bike, it looks like a 2 pin connector with 2 GY/R (Grey/Red Stripe) wires. The wires originate at the connector for the siren amplifier, connector 72B, positions 3A & 3C. The 2 pin connector that you're looking for is usually found coming down from the right side of the frame neck and wire tied to the top of the right side front crash bar.

 

Probably in the fairing. What are you trying to do with it?
