That's a great FXE, Jens. Can you tell me, please, is the gas cap a bayonet fitting or the screw-in type? Just wondering as I have a late OEM tank with the screw-in type.

@ JackGriffin: this is the one with bayonet fitting (stock on 1980 models). If there are any further questions, please send a pn or open a new thread. I will answer all questions about the rebuild of the bike, but I do not want to highjack this picture thread. I'm new here and don't want violate any rules.
