Chromed Street Bobs
Does chroming out a street bob go against what a "bobbed" bike should be?
Show off your chromed street bob pics. I'd like to see them. Any amount of chrome is welcome.

I'm starting a pile of chrome parts to install a little at a time and polishing aluminum.
The finishing touch on the bike will be a custom paint job. That's a while from now though.

**** no, bobbed (to me) is a style. Black or chrome it doesn’t matter. I had chrome on my old street bob, but always preferred the blacked out look. Different strokes. I now ride a blacked out lrs. Just comes down to preference In my opinion
I've heard a couple different definitions but I like to think a Bobber is a bike that's had all excess weight removed in the pursuit of performance. Somewhat less applicable today than it was in the 40s & 50s. Most Dynas are fairly lean (for a Harley) to begin with.
My interpretation of a bobber was always just that less is more. I feel like over chroming a bobber would defeat the purpose of simplicity but that candy flake dyna up there sure looks good

exactly. No floor boards or saddle bags, or windshields. Maybe a set of apes and nice sissybar
