Interesting. Hate to say but I am sick of all the roads around me, to the point, that I don't even want to go out sometimes when I have free time to go out.
I need to find new places around me. It's good to see people do have places they still like to ride on. I have a couple, but they are getting to used up and getting old. I keep going to them over, and over, and over and...
I either have a loop I take thats basically route 22/route 100 up to Katonah NY and back, or if I have like two-three hours I'll run a loop across the hudson and up 7 lakes drive, to the top of bear mountain, over bear mountain bridge, 9D to 301, and depending on how much time I have depends which way I come home. Sometimes I'll combine it with that route 100 loop and shoot home that way. Its an awesome ride and if anybody finds themselves this out this way I'd be more than happy to show it to them.
Twin Cities to Prescott WI and take hwy 35 along the Miss River. Amazing views, great biker bars and lots of twisties in the bluffs. Fantastic. April and September there is the "Flood Run" which is a blast. Worth the trip !
Plenty of nice rides around the Sierras. I like highway 108 over the Sonora Pass, it's only open in the summer and is lightly traveled with no trucks. Few RV's can make the hairpins.
The ride around the perimeter of Lake Tahoe used to be nice but tourists, traffic and congestion has ruined it.
I will ride anywhere there is trees, mountains and lakes. I will avoid riding to big cities at all costs.
The more desolation the better.
