Default 2014 fat bob needs some full frontal..

I am hoping to get ahold of some fabrik8t'd motorcycle gold In the form of some Ricor Intiminators modified by the man myth and legend himself. 2014 fat bob needs some more saddle settle. I have read much, and given my lack of tools and mechanical genius, have decided my laymans plan. I have ordered the Patriot Genesis springs, and wish to get ahold of some of "the real" Intiminators and any spacers and exceptional expert advice as to how to start fine tuning. If this is still your ultra specialized area of expertise and you might have time to help a fellow smoother ride searcher, please just let me know what to do next.

So, I have a set of original Ricor Intiminators for an 09 Road Glide and have been happy for the last 10 years and 100,000 miles. Question: Does Ohlin's front fork inserts provide current research that will give a better ride in 2020 than the 2009 Ricors? Is it worth the ride for me to switch?

I was planning on adding Ricor Intiminators to my 87 1100 Anniversary custom XL baby bagger 41mm NG conversion I got from V-Twin.
Did not like their custom tree and modified a factory 39mm tree to fit forks. Like the 41mm tubes look on the customized factory tree set (machined from 39mm to 41mm) am now stuck at fitting brake calipers and fender to the Lifeline sliders as the sliders have fender and caliper mounts set for factory dual disc parts at 8" fork center spacing and the factory spacing is 6.75". Have to get a set of sliders with correct fender and caliper mounts or modify the ones I have. There may be another way Im not thinking of but I have$ in the modified trees, a modified SE brace and the Lifeline forks and sliders. Factory wheel is in there and looks super (minus calipers and fender ) Any idears?

keithnhsporty,

fabrik8r (Jason) hasn't posted on here since October of 2018.....

Long story as to what happened with him, but bottom line, I don't think he will be answering you.....

I'd love to help, but your issue is above my abilities and experience...

There are several smart people on this forum. Maybe if you start a new thread with your question/issues, you will get more reads/responses than from this old thread...

Good luck...

Default Ricor Intiminators

I know this is an old topic, but I just recently installed these on my 1994 Road King and they are to stiff on the small bumps, and the Intiminator is exhibiting the clunk fabrik8r (Jason) describes. Is he still on this forum, and does anyone have any recent experience with this product?
