With winter here the sporty is getting a little makeover. First I finally got the shorter jiffy stand after I had lowered over the summer. Always made me feel nervous parking it. Second went with Harley's mini apes. Most say my brake line and clutch cable would work with the mini apes but there is just no way. So I'm going to have to order longer line and cable. Lastly the 13 spoke mags were pulled off and at the shop now to have the tires swapped onto a set of nightster wheels.

 

I've found all too often that things we are promised will work won't - at least not to my satisfaction! It's wise to be cautious and to do things well, finding out as we go along.

 

Looks like you and I have very similar bikes! I even used a die like you did for the broken choke ****.

Quick question for ya: I also have to pull my wheels off for a tire install, any issues you ran into getting the wheels off the bike?
