06 1200R fuel tank

Hey guys,

I recently got an 06, XL1200R with a 3.3 fuel tank. I was wondering if I could upgrade to the 4.5? Would this be a plug and play or would it require more detailed installation on the bike?

Yes you can. I had been watching eBay for a used 2004 - 2006 tank which will bolt right on and is for carburated models. I was going to use the 2008 paint scheme but now I thinking I will just leave it original.
