Making my first post here because well, it's the whole reason I joined. May be picking up a 2000 FXDL. It's a salvage bike but wont be too bad to get it together, and if I have it inspected before and after I should be able to get a clean title for it.

I have never messed with a dyna before so I am not familiar with them and was wondering if anyone knows, a.) what gas tanks will fit. (Believe it will be 93-03 but not 100% sure.) b.)Which (If any.) of the other gas tanks will accept the low rider console, cap, and gas gauge. Also know the pics in the add are **** but in the below link can anyone tell if the forward controls are factory or what brand gonna try to check it out this weekend so hopefully will have better shots.

For 1,000 More might be able to find a better deal without fighting the Salvage Title thing unless consider it a labor of love want to tackle ..

Bought this Super Glide just like pictured for $4,000.00 with 17,000 Original Miles a little over a year ago ..

 

Nice find, and there's no way in hell I'd pay the 3200 he wants so this is all tentative. Just figured I'd find out those few things. If I can't get him to come down there is a pretty nice super glide I think I might grab.
