Default Idle shaking

My 2014 Street Glide shakes like crazy at idle. Bike runs perfect but the shaking is crazy when stopped. Any ideas? Is there a fix?

Are you holding the front brake while at a stop? It makes a difference in the amount of shaking you will feel. Engaging the front brake while at a stop will result in more shaking as perceived by the rider.

my buddy just bought a 14 limited that drops one cylinder every single time he stops if air temp is warm... maybe 75 or above ? i mean EACH stop light....dont know if the rushmores all do that but that of course will cause the shake.. he was told normal for the rushmore 14's... i not so sure

Yup, un-balanced motor shakes like crazy at idle. That's why they're rubber mounted. Not like the Softails with their balanced rigid mount motors. I love it. Lol

Well, I'm glad to finally hear someone say this. I always wondered about that damn shaking when holding in the front brake. Now, I know I'm not alone.
