Default Excessive HEAT on Softail

Any recommendations on how to deal w/heat on Softail Deluxe. Installed the saddle shields and its still Hott. Not sure if the leather ones work better than the plastic Kuryakyn Saddle Shields

Capt. Itch, Love Juggs, and a fuel tuner.
All help a little bit each.

They also sell a unit that just increases the fuel (runs richer/cooler).
Plugs inline with the 02 sensor.

I didn't see tank lifts on the list, not sure about issues with the bars or windshield though.
I asked the question but never got an answer.

1. Air deflectors
2. Fuel adjustment systems (one form or another).
3. Exhaust systems (if you have a cat system you could loose some heat that way).
4. Fans
5. Air flow revisions (tank lift).
6. ???

What did I miss?

I can tell you that our Crotch cooler /Heat shield will really make a difference.. Easy to install and it has a larger footprint than the plastic ones.. There are many threads here on just how well they work .. If you have any questions just let us know .. Thank you Itch .. https://shop.captain-itch.com/Harley-Davidson_c70.htm

Had the Harley plastic shields, they're junk. Itch's leather one is 100x better. Covers more area and really thick.

if you have bags, get the cup holder too. Fits a 20 oz yeti tumbler perfect.
